Cryptocurrency and Estate Planning Workshop - Thursday 12th February 2026

This session will focus on the practical application of the Property (Digital Assets etc) Act 2025, including will drafting considerations, estate administration challenges, and risk management for practitioners. This training is intended to equip will writers and estate planners with the knowledge and confidence required to advise clients competently on digital assets within the modern legal framework.

This session will include:  

• What cryptocurrency and digital assets actually are, in plain English   
• How and where clients typically hold these assets
• Why crypto creates unique challenges in wills, probate, and LPAs   
• The real risks of lost access, missing assets, and failed probate   
• What the Property (Digital Assets) Act 2025 means for your practice   
• How to ask the right questions during fact-finding   
• What needs to be documented, and what should never be written into a will
• How to protect clients, beneficiaries, and yourself  

This session will start at 10am and qualify for 6 hours CPD.
