What happens when someone dies and cryptocurrency or other digital
assets form part of the estate?
This practical 3.5-hour live online workshop takes practitioners
through the administration process from first discovery through to valuation,
provider enquiries, estate decisions and distribution. It covers provider-held
assets, self-custody, authority, evidence, date-of-death valuation, beneficiary
readiness and when specialist legal, tax, technical or valuation support may be
needed.
The workshop is designed for will-writers and probate
practitioners who want a clear, practical process they can apply when dealing
with cryptoassets in an estate.
Module 2 assumes Foundation-level knowledge. Completion of Crypto
& Digital Assets — Estate Planning Foundations, or equivalent prior
knowledge, is recommended.
