"Having spent a number of years in Administration and Marketing in the chemical industry, I became the IPW's first employee in 2002. I have participated in the growth of the organisation, from recruiting new members, through the struggle for the elusive regulation we crave, to training and upholding standards in Will writing that the IPW holds dear.
"My day-to-day activities in the supervision of the administrative activities to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the IPW office include assisting with membership processes, arranging training courses, dealing with membership issues, liaising with members and the general public, producing reports for the IPW/ISPW Council. These describe just some of my tasks. No two days are the same and there's never a dull moment. There are new challenges daily, not enough hours in the day and, most importantly, I work with the best team of people you could wish for!"
Compliance Manager & ADR Official
"Having worked for the IPW nearly 10 years, I am now the Compliance Manager. I'm dedicated to my job and going to work is never a chore. I'm fun-loving, outgoing and enjoy socialising, but also have a very serious and strict side too. Comply or die was once my catchphrase.
"I have worked as Membership Manager for the Institute for over 6 years. I love my job and the people I work with. I'm passionate about what I do - guiding and advising people is my forte. To work for a professional organisation is a pleasure not a chore.
"For all enquiries and questions relating to becoming a member of the Institute and the process of becoming a member, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
"I have worked at the IPW for 6 years. I am the Accounts Manager for the IPW and the Will Writing Academy - keeping all the finances in check. No two days are the same. My job is fulfilling, rewarding and versatile and I work with a lovely inspiring bunch.
Training and Membership Administrator
"I first joined the IPW as an apprentice, studying Business Administration. I worked three days a week while attending my local college where I studied Level 3 in Administration and Level 2 in Functional Skills in IT.
"I am now a full-time Administrative Assistant and have a variety of responsibilities. I mainly deal with incoming and outgoing post, as well as fielding calls to the appropriate person. I make and send information packs to prospective members, as well as collating files for existing student members.
"Every day is a learning curve, as I find myself learning how to do new tasks within the office. My role within the IPW has grown and developed since I started work here and I continue to learn and enjoy my job.
