Wednesday 11 March 2026 Conference Speakers:
Professor Lesley King – is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales who specialises in wills and related matters. Professor King was previously the Private Client Practice Head at The College of Law in Bloomsbury and is currently a Professor and Professional Development Consultant with The University of Law (incorporating The College of Law).
Caroline Bielanska TEP, Solicitor, author & legal trainer – Caroline is the former Chief Executive and former Chair of Solicitors for the Elderly (now called the Association of Lifetime Lawyers), an organisation she helped to found in 1999. She delivers legal training for many CPD providers, including Central Law Training International, MBL, The Solicitors Group, Professional Conferences and STEP, and is well known in her specialist field, advising older and vulnerable adults who have limited physical and/or mental capacity. She is the author and contributor to the leading legal books in this area..
John Bunker LL.B CTA TEP – is a freelance lecturer and Consultant Solicitor & Chartered Tax Adviser with Irwin Mitchell LLP and also co-Editor (& author of 1/3) of the Law Society’s IHT Planning Handbook and now co-editor of Bloomsbury's Practical Inheritance Tax Planning (with Mark Mclaughlin and IM colleague Sarah Paton).

The event is open to both IPW members and non-members. Professionals who would benefit in attending include solicitors, accountants, will writers, probate practitioners and estate planners.
Day 1 - For the Workshops, please join us on the afternoon of Tuesday 10th March at 1.30 pm for Registration and Refreshments Workshops will be held from from 2.00 – 4.30/5.00 pm.
Pre-dinner drinks will be served at 6.30-7.00 pm, followed by Dinner at 7.30 pm, after which Steve Judge will tell us all about his extraordinary journey of resilience and triumph.
Day 2 - The IPW/ISPW Annual General Meeting & National Willwriting Academy Ltd Conference.
Please register at 8.30 – 9.00 am when refreshments will be served and, after a welcome from our Chair, the AGM will commence at 9.30 am followed by our National Conference.
We expect the conference to close at around 4.30-4.45 pm.
